he did want to take a lot of the band's decisions and they wouldn't let him so he left them, you have to admit that he was very self centered and wanted to always be on the spotlight, this can be seen on live videos and interviews, he should have learned his place as guitarist and back up vocalist, but I'm glad there's no bad blood between them anymore

that makedamnsure video is one of my favorites as well, they had a perfect thing going on in 2006 and 2007 when no one thought they would be able to be good again after john and shaun left, too bad they couldn't keep it that way, but the way things were going it seemed as just a matter of time. I'm happy they are back together the way they want it to be, and let's just hope they can get back on track with the next album
