Album has grown on me. Unforgiven 3 (ugh) and Suicide And Redemption (Jam session, ooh the kids will lovbe it!) are the only really bad songs on here.

I can't stand it to be honest. The only Metallica Instrumental I really love is the one from RTL though, so I'm not going to rant about it.

S&R kinda just wanders along without any sort of purpose really (IMO anyway).
It seems like they recorded it simply for the sake of having it there without really trying to make it any good. I dunno, it just doesnt work for me.
But as a whole I didn't think this album was that bad. Just not great.

Just St. Anger with guitar solos in my opinion Metallica needs to go back to their roots not back to the success of the Black Album still it is at least tolerable but nothing great.

Thats a bit silly calling DM "just ST.Anger with solos" when clearly its so much more. Granted, it's nowhere near perfect or good to be considered a classic it is still a return to the earlier roots you speak of.
