Grounded is probably my favorite, perfect perfect perfect tune. In the Mouth a Desert has to be top 5 though, there's many to choose from for sure.

It's finally starting to grow on me after four years of revisiting this on-and-off, I must admit. The best tracks are phenomenal

Can never decide if the greatest Pavement song is Gold Soundz, Unfair, or Summer Babe.

Or Range Life, In the Mouth a Desert, Grounded, Starlings of the Slipstream...

Virtually impossible to decide yeah. Grounded, In The Mouth a Desert and Gold Soundz could be my picks but then again you also have Debris Slide, Box Elder, Spit On A Stranger and Trigger Cut... oh there's so many fantastic group :]

Out of the limited selection I've heard (just this and Slanted) I'd probably go with "Gold Soundz," it's melodic perfection through and through
That being said, "Hit the Plane Down" and to a lesser extent "Heaven Is a Truck" would both have to grow on me before I could see myself 5'ing this. Could potentially go up to a 4.5 though - "Elevate Me Later," "Stop Breathin'," "Gold Soundz," and "Fillmore Jive" are all 5/5 tracks, and 6 out of the other 8 are no slouches either

Silence Kid is a classic tune as well for me. Hit The Plane Down was a winner for me since the first time I heard it, though I can understand why other people may not be very much into it, but rest assured Heaven Is A Truck is a hard grower.

I still always think "Silence Kit" to this day
