I just checked out Morningrise, and I think this one is quite a bit better. This has prettier melodic sections and in general more interesting songwriting.

Morningrise is a grower though. After a while you won't be able to do without that bass, those melodies, those particular sounding riffs, the twists and turns, its flow, the build up to To Bid You Farewell, etc.

Their first to albums are really something special. According to Mikael he didn't know what he was doing at all, but it worked beautifully. I'm thinking about bumping both albums up a bit
