Amazing band's possibly pretty good effort.

i think the alchemy indexs should be listed as four separate EPs as well. since they're all so different it's hard to rate fire and water as one album, for example. they did this with the dear hunter color spectrum. i guess 1&2 were only released together for convenience of release, rather than intending for it to be classed as a coherent album.

If they won't reunite, I will most likely at some point in my life kill myself since I have never seen them live.

I get that these were released as one package, but I feel that it is bullshit that I can't rate each EP separately. A general rating on two completely different products is just silly.

I literally cannot explain, in words, how amazing the water section of this album is.

Pure beauty.

Way better than Earth and Wind which is just flat out boring imo...

Lol you know what I mean, but I'm just not a fan of the direction Thrice has gone in these last few albums... is it even worth checking out the new one if I wasn't impressed at all with Beggars?

i think it's worth checking out cause there's a chance you'll like it, but it does have like the least change between albums on thrice's disc

Beggars and major/minor bored me to tears (for the most part) yet a lot of people claim it's their best work. Depends what side(s) of Thrice you like I suppose. I liked their early stuff and the experimental stuff.

I love the lyrics and the meaning of Beggars, but the music is rather boring. Somehow I think that Major/Minor is their best album, though.

You definitely need to seperate those two from the rest of their stuff.

Backdraft is pretty lame and the Water disc can be slightly dull, but it still rules

Water is the best part about but it still sucks

Water is better, but the best moments of Fire are so awesome that it feels better because it's easy to overlook the worse parts if ya get me
