My favorite album of Meshuggah's.
Every time I listen, I try to trace the development of the main riff throughout the record. It really is just one riff, slowly being tweaked, cut up, and expanded upon. The interludes are like nothing I've ever heard before or since.
Buy this album.

DEI has some filler here and there, so I give it a 4.5. This album is nonstop, controlled, intoxicating madness.

So, I'm going to jam to Eminem's "Untitled" on acapella while listening to the instrumental of Krokus's "Open Fire". Mesmerizing.
