I'm not sure that I've ever heard a record more consistent than this one. Every song is a top-flight representation of their sound and their aesthetic. One of my favorite albums of '07 for sure.



The follow-up after this had a bigger guitar/drum sound, but the songs weren't as consistently good, and I thought the vocal mix didn't showcase Darroh's voice as well. This record allows his hooks to soar unfettered, and it works perfectly for their sound.
