it's definitely a saturated genre but unlike most of the idiotic party-folk metal bands, Moonsorrow puts down their mead long enough to write some good damn songs

Nice Guyman - I am usually not a fan of this over the top, mercurial form of black metal , but this band Is really great. The layered guitars with that silky smooth tone does it for me.

Amorphis does use some folk metal influences, but I'd say they are something else. Maybe prog/melodeath/folk.
