I see what you're saying Ars but I guess after a while I don't see the point in continuing to comment on something you like relatively less.
But even then there seem to be about as many people here who rate this 3-3.5 as there are 4.5s so you're not really in the minority (at least among those who actually comment).
I'm just saying there's a point at which you realize you're not really gonna change anybody's opinion and you're better off just letting the others enjoy it.
I'm not saying I don't value criticism, it's just that it seems to be the same sort of conversations over and over again
And you could take that as an excuse for the shitposting or off topic stuff too idk I'm probably overreacting

I mean occasionally somebody new will show up I guess but then all the same people/opinions start getting flung around.
Like I feel like I've probably given my perspectives on each song here at least twice over the course of the thread.

I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that I personally find it more enjoyable to discuss what I enjoy the most. Usually if I find I dislike something more than most do I will post about it a few times, and then generally not post there again.
Maybe other people just like dissenting more than I do.
Though I guess I'm dissenting right now.

I think the only time I ever felt compelled to post on the thread of an album I dislike is the Kid A thread but even then it somehow managed to be a productive thread where me, Potsy, and Sint agreed that 5ing everything is the way to go

Ars at the end of it all I guess I get more annoyed at the shitposting (which has actually mostly stopped here anyways tbh) than the dissenting.
It's just that the way people have been dissenting in this thread mostly come across more as being buzzkills than just disagreeing or trying to have a serious discussion.
