Lyrics don't always have to be deep or illuminating; they are, IMO, but yes, other artists have done this even better. But, they're also very describing, and that mixed with the two afforementioned attributes makes this one of my favorite lyrical albums. And also, as you say, "the delivery, the focus, the atmosphere just makes the execution perfect."
