this album surprisingly still holds up. I never thought I'd ever like a Kanye album other than the first 2.

plane I wrote that whilst I was listening to these track by track, I listened to that song again 3 more times and fell in love with it, so don't you worry your pretty little mind.

the production/beats on this album are insane. I can take or leave the lyrics on some of the songs, but even they're pretty good for the most part, and they're generally the weakest aspect of Kanye's music. Really excellent album. Can't rate this because I can't decide between 4.5 and 5.

solid 4.5 for me, and yeah the lyrics arent always great but he usually has a great flow and occasionally outdoes himself. and the guest verses are all stellar

Yeah, and his samples are incredible. The sample in On Sight is one of my favorite music moments of the year.

'he'll give us what we need, it may not be what we want' sets the tone for the whole album. Kanye rules.

my other favorite moment is the silence-to-beat moment after the screams on I Am A God. So good. I run miles to the first three songs Yeezus and finishing with I Am A God is a pretty swee confidence booster.
