If Maynard's vocals on Rosetta Stoned were like on Ticks and Leeches, he wouldn't sound like a confused idiot and it wouldn't fit the lyrics.

Yep. He’d just sound angry and vengeful. Which wouldn’t fit the song tone.

“Even though I love the song, I gotta somewhat agree with you here. 13 mins is a lot of real estate space during a 90 minute show. Also assuming they’ll be playing new material, and having heard Rosetta live a handful of times, I’d rather hear more new material. Also would love for The Grudge to be added back to the set list more consistently. It slays live.“

agreed 1000%

though I’d love to see Third Eye live so I’m being biased as hell since I like that song a hell of a lot more than rosetta

Third Eye is amazing live and def better than Rosetta (still love Rosetta though).

I’d say as far as their really epic songs go — Lateralus, Third Eye And Aenima are the best.

Looks like they played two new songs tonight — Invisible and Descending (with lyrics). Tempting to listen but I don’t want to spoil the new music by listening to crap quality. Gotta wait.

Oh, good lol. Couldn't really tell, some people actually like Lipan Conjuring, not sure why. So annoying, but at least it's not L.A. Municipal Court.

Curious about those songs though but idk if I'm gonna check. I think I'd rather wait and just jam the full album unless they release a single or something.

it was amazing, I was there on their first date in jacksonville. I’m done with moshing though, doing it to meshuggah and tool in the same night was fucking intense.
