BWP t/t? Oh hell yeah, one of the best songs ever made.

Leper Affinity is my favorite Opeth song in general, but the t/t of BWP is really high on the list too. One of the best examples of the band combining atmosphere and brutality

Wouldn't change a thing on the BWP t/t. Completely perfect.

This beats anything they did from '00 to 05 imo. May even be my favorite Opeth album by a more significant margin.

Definitely the most 'all over the place' Opeth album, for me.

The one that got me into Opeth.

That's unusual, I would've definitely found this hard to get into if it was my first album by them.

Although, I suppose Lotus Eater is a good introduction to the band.

I can't tell if i actually think this is on the lower echelon of death metal era Opeth albums or if I was just peeved that it wasn't Damnation 2.0 given the mood i was in at the time of checking.

My introduction to Opeth was with Ghost Reveries, but this is the one that truly got me into the band. I only liked them at first, and I ended up loving them because of Watershed. Looking back, it is a rather unusual place to start lol

Man, they do more in the first 4 minutes of that song than most bands do in a career.

"We'll never have blast beats."

Well 1. You lied and 2. Suck a dick you pretentious cunt, Opeth with blast beats is demonstrably awesome, you should have used more.

Next Opeth will be all clean jazz rock with non stop blast beats and Maynard as a guest vocalist. I can feel it

I'd settle for blasts with cleans like Lotus Eater, works so well.
