Heir Apparent is the only Opeth song with no clean vocals and it definitely rules hard.

Totally. Heir Apparent is amazing. Whole album is, I still love Lotus Eater, but one of them has to be the least enjoyable.
Choosing the most enjoyable here is more difficult. Oof. Might be Hessian Peel actually... Although Hex Omega always surprises me by how good it is.

I like how you didn't stop at music and instead went for all art. Nice.
I can't entirely disagree either.

There’s no other Opeth track with vocals that’s just straight harsh vox all the way through.

In fact I don’t think that’s true, haven jammed Orchid for ages but I think most of that album is harsh vox haha.

No it's true. People say BWP t/t doesn't feature cleans, but there's definitely a lot of oooh-ing and aaah-ing happening in that beautiful atmospheric bridge.

there’s four (i think) voice like sounds under the clean electric part the second time around but i really don’t count those

Haha, well, if you don't count those then I agree. But I've always felt they're just present enough.

if they don’t do them live i don’t count them. it’s not like the ooohs and aaahs in masters apprentices

Fair point. One of their best tracks too. It just builds and builds and builds and is totally perfect.
