I stayed at a motel in the room next to Jesse Lacey in 2004. I heard him in the next room like "oh baby, baby.. baby".. But I thought he was just having sex with a Girl. If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have intervened. I'm sorry Guys :'(

i haven't got much comedic juice. this topic doesn't whet my comedic appetite too much, which i guess is a good thing.

As far as public knowledge is concerned, Lil Pump is morally superior to Jesse Lacey. Jesse got nudes of a 15 year old, all Lil Pump has done so far is take meds with his Grandma

Waste is a great song. Favorite here. In The Water second fav. Great programming/coding music, surprisingly. I put this album on repeat and code/study for hours. Very relaxing. Helps me focus somehow.

I wasn't sure how comfortable I'd feel listening to this last night (it was my first listen since the allegations surfaced) but against all odds, it actually grew a little bit. Either that, or my initial 3 was a bit too harsh to begin with.

I would have thought that this would be the most appealing given his other tastes but it seems I don't even know him anymore.

Duly noted, Sowing.
Ghost, from what I remember this one is maybe a bit more to my taste musically but I don't remember any of the songs really impressing me. There's a certain urgency to TDAG that I didn't get from this, but I may also have not had quite the right attitude when checking this one.

This is more subdued for sure, but each song has a completely unique sound from the next and everything just flows so well from beginning to end. I still prefer TDAG but this is basically a perfect album to me.

Ok, now having listened through completely three times on three different days (this is my first run through of BN’s discog, I’ve listened to Devil and Daisy, still have Deja and YFW): this album is stunningly beautiful. I saw someone mention that Devil and God was the inner turmoil and Daisy was like the aftermath that transpired after that turmoil exploded. Makes perfect sense to me. And to that, I would say Sci fi is like that same person (I’ll say Jesse obviously) grown and more mature, still has those same demons, but has arrived at a place of relative peace and acceptance. The demons are still there, but they’ve learned coping skills and how to live with them.
If the Devil-Daisy-Sci fi is a trilogy, this is a beautiful and fitting conclusion. When I’ve seen people write that this is the perfect swan song, I believe this is what they mean. Or if not, this is what they mean without fully understanding why they say that, they just feel it lol.
Hard to say whether I prefer this or DAG. It’s certainly a close call and I’m obviously still digesting/absorbing, and this album has much growing to do. I would say I’ll probably end up giving DAG the edge, but obviously can’t say for sure. Curious to see how Deja and YFW fit in.
A few tracks that have made the best initial impressions: Can’t Get it Out, Waste, Same Logic/Teeth, 137, Out of Mana and In the Water.
