Damn y'all got quite an intimate relationship with sticking to moods and keeping the flow when it comes to listening to music. It is quite interesting to see.

Don't forget lighting, temperature, overall ambience & of course the right beer always helps. I also find mediating to get myself in the zone is beneficial too... ok, that one was a joke.

I generally listen to full albums but could give you a massive list of albums that I only enjoy 1 or 2 songs off of. They end up on my 400+ song metal playlist. This album obviously is not one of them.

I like it when a dream pop song is followed by funeral doom. It's just like life innit.

"It's just like life innit."

Certainly is for those unlucky enough to pass away in their sleep.

I generally listen to full albums, except when I'm drunk, like now. I just jumped from Alpinist to Amorphis and idgaf. edit: actually just realized that's not shuffling technically since I manually picked the songs, but yea.. rarely I'll turn it on my phone I guess, but that's all.

Not that random, I was referencing the DREAM (asleep) & FUNERAL (die/death), it was an obscure & odd joke but it works, I think...

yea because if you wake up from dream pop you don't get to listen to funeral doom, duh

Joke works except for the unlucky bit. Excepting being eaten by a large predator, I would prefer to die in my sleep.

Of course, I meant it's just unfortunate to die AT ALL especially if you're not expecting it. It's a good way to die compared with other forms of death, definitely.

How is it unfortunate to die? Will we lament our passing in the afterlife?

It's USUALLY unfortunate, there are exceptions, some people want to die or are experiencing immense pain etc.

If you want to carry on living as long as possible of course it's unfortunate, despite being inevitable at some point. Age is irrelevant too, if you live to 80 then you COULD maybe have lived longer still. I would still say someone is unfortunate to have died at that precise moment.

I feel like this has become a matter of semantics...
