I feel you zak. I think having a physical/digital split helps iron that quite a bit; I miss relying more on CDs through uni and am gonna go back to them a lot more this year. The internet and a checklist of infinite digital albums are great ofc, but there's a line to be drawn somewhere

This band are the last that I’ve invested in regarding CDs. That’s it now. Done. It’s vinyls for the fuck of it and digital from here on in. I’m glad I’ve concluded the whole CD journey thing that started in 1991 for me. It seems appropriate.

Man, since this is so hyped and I hadn't heard it in years, I forgot how awesome it is. Listening for the past few days again, amazing riffs, and it sounds so crisp production/engineering wise. The acoustic parts sound incredible, just sound wise, so crisp.
