it just reminds me of back in the day, me being in an anti-BOTDF community but the moderators all seemed to not be too happy about the idea that someone into scene stuff would be united against Dahvie, so they spent weeks mocking everything I did behind my back and then one of them opened the door and when i thought they'd have my back they took his side
the similarities i see here: some people telling others what they're supposed to think, that copypasta where they make up a guy who's annoying (and apparently a creep, because they think we're all creeps) and crap on that fictional guy instead of keeping it music-centric. the more things change, the more they stay the same...
