To be fair, I listen to the majority of my music at the gym on my ipod and then on my car stereo. Not much quiet home listening. Although at home, it's def full albums.

I guess I do it in the car. I have albums that I listen to in the car where I listen to less than a full album at a time. makes me feel bad when I have to turn the car off tho

i try to listen to an album all the way through when i can, but there's so many bands i wanna listen to that i end up jumping around. never do shuffle tho - always know what i wanna jam next.

And it's also a problem when you heave really atmospheric stuff like Godspeed and it suddenly goes to a song that's mindless fun and then to a song from an album you've saved for later

I like shuffle for playlists or when I listen to a band, like Death, and will be happy with any song coming on. Especially when I'm lazy and I don't want to have to pick a new album every 40 minutes. lol

If you have a specific playlist for it then that makes more sense, I can't imagine just shuffling my entire iPod or even a single artist. In the case of Death (your example) wouldn't you be better off jamming a full album? I presume it would flow better than just having it on random. Of course if you only have 20 minutes or something, then it's different.
