Interesting about the interludes for the new one. Which version gets reviewed? I guess it depends on whether the reviewer in question receives a physical promotional copy, or if they're reliant on the digital format for their analysis.
Is it fair to simply consider the interludes 'bonus tracks' in an expanded edition of sorts? Therefore maybe they shouldn't be taken into consideration when reviewing the album.

@Demon that kind of thinking always drives me up the wall lol, especially when it comes to albums where the tracklist or track ordering is different in different countries or on the vinyl release vs the CD release. Still an interesting thing to consider though!

You could just have a small post-review paragraph that briefly mentions the differences in the two versions and how it effects the album, not really a big deal imo

I think the interludes are being left off the CD release because they bring the total runtime over 80 minutes - more than can fit on a single CD
Also "Chocolate Chip Trip" will be SOTY

I get that too, but they could also have released it as a double-album, providing there's a sensible place to 'split it'... maybe there isn't and that's the problem. I wonder if this was the intention all along, or if they ended up with more album material than they were initially expecting.
