unless you're a fan of a team like the panthers or cardinals or titans who are both currently not good and have historically never won anything... chances are your fanbase is just as insufferable as everyone else's

Yeah that's probably true lol it's easy to tune out the noise when they aren't perennially in the title picture like Chiefs/Eagles is all

there's bad apples in every fanbase and which fanbase you hate is generally just a reflection of the team you root for and the small microcosm of random fans you interact with. philly and dallas are the only fanbases that actually feel like a step above general shittiness and even then i question whether that's just confirmation bias. and obv KC fans are annoying they're winning. notice how no one talks about pats fans anymore

I've learned to be humble and not talk shit until after the game. A lot of my co-workers over the years have tried to talk mad shit to me when their teams and playing the Eagles and then get pissed on Monday mornings when I come in and rub the loss in their faces after being quiet leading up to the game.

Going off what you said, that's why I find those other fanbases so insufferable. They talk an insane amount of shit but at least they can somewhat back it up besides Cowboys fans and Commies fans prior to this year.

trilo, I think it's a lot of confirmation bias. I can't deny there are lots of Eagles fans that are complete assholes but 49ers, Cowboys, and Raiders fans have stabbed and shot opposing fans at games but nobody talks about it. Raiders fans threw a Ravens fan off a balcony at M&T Bank Stadium in 2013 and put him in a coma yet it's crickets. A Yankees fan threw a knife at an Angels player in 1986 and actually hit him.

I know I sound like I'm trying to cope but I guess you get tired of hearing how much your fanbase sucks and every little thing is put under a microscope when other fansbases are doing all the same shit, if not worse.

It was fine after beating the Patriots. I went to the parade and it was just a giant party. I got to hold Jason Kelce when he jumped into the crowd and crowd surfed everyone.

I remembered hearing the police scanners right after the game because my mother had a scanner app and she turned it to Philly and it sounded like a riot was going on, then I heard someone say they nearly went into martial law and I just kinda believed it

Nah I mean it was hectic but there were no riots like Vancouver losing the Stanley Cup in 2011.

yeah pretty much. people remember philly fans throwing snowballs at santa so when a new article comes out it’s oh classic philly fans but glaze over all the crazy shit other fans do. and i think cowboys fan hate stems a lot from jerry jones and the america’s team bologna. i mean shit i’m a ravens fan and i hated browns fans even before the watson stuff bc they always complained about art modell but most people felt bad for them bc their team is so ass

I felt bad too but we saw their moral compass when Deshaun got involved in full form

Yeah I went from wanting the Browns to win just because they'd always been bad to hoping nothing but torturous season after season for that team and fanbase after they embraced Watson.

ya i think every fanbase would end up doing the same if they had watson. it’s not a cleveland fan thing but more a reflection of their morally bankrupt ownership

obviously not all but did you see those disgusting signs that were calling the women that accused whores and said things like happy endings are not illegal? vile.

I was 100% ready to stop watching the Eagles once Watson's name started popping up in rumors that Howie was going to trade for him. That said, I don't doubt there would've been Eagles fans with the same disgusting displays Browns fans had at their tailgates supporting Watson.

Cowboys and Steelers (except my sister and Hawks tbh) fans are equally annoying with their "this is our year" every September

You can take Steelers fans outta this bruh. None of us think we're winning until a QB comes through the door lmao.

think overall the fanbases i find most annoying are the ones who have young qbs on 2nd contracts who are good but not quite elite... aka, varying degrees of overrated by their fanbase

chargers, jags, dolphins are the three big ones rn. philly would prob be there too if they weren't constantly winning.
