No seriously it's because of the 2016 release date. Look at albums like TSoP (a big point of comparison for this with similarly divisive vox) or Like an Everflowing Stream which have almost identical bell-curves in the 4-5 range but nowhere near the proportion of lower ratings.

It happens to just about every new album that recieves a lot of hype lol
