Haven't heard a single one of those albums Ryus but I do agree 2010 was a terrific year, second best of the decade after 2013.

Little faith and bloodbuzz are pretty good but nowhere near as good as sorrow and conversation. And agreed with ryus. Literally every album he listed is better than this

I'm on such a National kick these days while awaiting the new album. 2013 was such a bomb year for music. 2016 was kinda shitty to me except for Radiohead. This year is currently in the running for second best after 2013 for me. Could jump 2013 by end of year though.

Unfortunately The National is one of those bands i only listen to once in awhile because i jammed them almost daily for a few years.

Huh I get this but I am lucky because with me I overplay specific albums while ignoring others for quite a long time. By the time I am sort of sick of those ones the ones I have been ignoring are fresh again and the cycle starts again. I am at a point where I cannot listen to TWFM and Boxer after playing them daily over last 12 or so months but HV and Alligator are so fresh now.

As masterful as all the album experiences are, just jamming individual songs from all over their discography is totally doable with this band, and doesn't take away the emotional impact or resonance at all. England for example still gets better and better each time I hear it, blew me away while driving the other day just having my iPhone music on shuffle.

Actually it is, aside from having to pay for it again. I wouldn't be asking if that was the case.

And it's 2017 mate no need to be a dick about it. Ya either got it & you wanna offer it, or ya don't.
