My first Deftones gig was at Hurricane Festival 2010 I think and back then I wished they'd play Engine No.9. When they finally did, someone in the crowd tripped and suffered a compound fracture in his ankle during the intro. The crowd signalled the band to stop and were calling for medics so Deftones waited and then continued with the next song which was Change. Kinda sucked.

It was definitely a disappointment and isn’t all that great as a Deftones album since they’ve set the bar so high — but it’s still a very solid album with some top tier Deftones songs (Hearts/Wires, Phantom Bride, L(MIRL), Acid Hologram).

I feel Bored is very similar to Korn's Blind, both are simple, straight-forward album openers to their debuts and imo sound bland after multiple listens. Bored edges Blind though because Chino's vocals are fantastic at the end of the track.
