Imagine thinking this is a 1.5 disc by the way lol
The amount of riffage on this one is insane, what a Rollercoaster. Tempted to slap a 4.0 straight out of the first listen

"While I'm never gonna vibe with everything they release or even really want to take the time to check all of it, I feel like this is the type of shit I would want to do if I were to be in a band again at this point, and I respect what they're doing and that it's not nearly as base level pentatonic garage fuzz bullshit as I would've expected when I first checked them out"
Good comment! I am certainly not in love with most of their releases. Most of the time I thought they had lots of potential, but didn't really realise it (or that psych garage thing isn't my genre idk). Their last few albums though hit me much more. What ever changed, it was for the better imo

Black Metal and Surf Rock aren't too far off from eachother, are they? I can see it

Been having a fun time with this album and my son loves it because of the "tiny dinosaur".
No idea what the full album title is because I haven't seen it written out anywhere without being cut short.

'Black Metal and Surf Rock aren't too far off from eachother, are they? I can see it'
black metal is literally surf rock with distortion

Witchcraft has grown on me! For sure one of the better/catchier permutations of The King Gizzard Melody they always do

Surf rock is lowkey GOATed and majorly underrepresented here
Pika and Komp check Takeshi Terauchi and the Bunnys - This Is Terauchi Bushi it is on my life one of the most Cool Guy recs i have to offer. provide more enka surf and less bm punk trash!

On the surf rock topic, anyone get a kinda creepy/dark vibe from Beach Boys songs or is it just me. Like, just under the surface there’s something sinister.
