The back half of Star baby may be the only thing I can remember about this album

aww youre lucky, the sax guy was barely audible at the show I saw them at (Brooklyn, NY). The mixing was awful that night.

i was lucky in that regard but they also had technical difficulties that ended up cutting their set short by 2 songs

I'm way late to the party here.

Some of this is straight up gold in a very Dillinger way and I love it - sometimes even crazier and heavier.

Some of it is downright stomach-sinking cringe. Mostly the talk-y stuff where some of the lyricism is uber tryhard. I honestly think a lot of the weird genre-bending stuff would be better off with no vocals.

The heavy is pretty awesome.

ngl I enjoyed drugs' debut way back when it came out as with most stuff with Craig Owens in it but this new release was so uninteresting and synthetic af, the other 2 bands I really don't know nothing about

I could never get past Craigs singing to enjoy anything his bands ever put out. That first Chiodos album was so hyped back in the day and I never understood it.

hes improved leaps and bounds as a singer since then admittedly. the dude is hitting like g5s on some tracks off the new album which is no small feat, esp since his pitch controls been pretty stable since like 08, but the writing has dropped off so not an ideal trade lol

Also this still rules and hasn't gotten stale in the slightest.
