Some stylistic changes from Polar Similar through to this album have made me less and less engaged. Not everyone will feel the same and that's fine.

What really disappoints me is the production. There are some good riffs here but the 'crunch' or 'bite' of the treble delivered by the guitar that would be present on their earlier work is completely smoothed out. It feels completely baseless as well, the few breakdowns that should sounds punishing end up landing literally quite flat.

I know this would sound really damn good live, but otherwise I'm unmoved.

I don't get the production complains, I feel this is their best sounding album. 1994 just hits you in the face when it gets going.

Production is a standout point. This will probably take a few more listens for me to become fully acquainted with the tracks but overall, it is an excellent album.

Honestly I feel like the vocal Melodies are not great and the riffs were dumbed down and just went for stupid heavy. Opinions are so interesting haha
