Both masterpieces in my eyes. One of the best back to back albums I've ever heard from a band.
It's funny because Empty Black is more angry, but this is more depressing. Its lyrics aren't as easy to decipher, and cut deep because it allows me to put my own spin on them. Love the differences.

I've never heard the term "butt rock" before this thread, but I immediately understood it. All Candy is just terrible, and there are plenty of other cheesy vocal lines ("Midnight sets innnn" over and over) that might just be too much to overcome. Shame, because the vocals worked so well on Empty Black
