This would honestly be their best, if they had just cut Cabron, Television, On Mercury, and Warm Tape. They’d make fine bonus tracks. And ended Cant Stop some other way. Some of the band’s best melodic moments are here, and those harmonies are pure bliss. Dosed is also my favorite song the band ever did. Venice Queen might even be my second.

I know this is their soft rock era etc but this sounds far more like the aural equivalent of sopping wet bread than I remember from my last listen half a decade ago.

i remember the best non-singles here being warm tape and fucking tear, which are not exactly beating the allegations either
