Dude the opening riff to The Faultless is so groovy that I want to surf on it and scream kawabunga

First 30 seconds and I knew they were back. I could tell they're back to letting go again and not forcing their "popular" formulas. Broken Cog already reminding me of Chaosphere, Catch33 and Obzen. Now on Abysmal Eye, HUGE song. Light the Shortening Fuse...holy mother of god is this really the Catch33 sequel I've always wanted?

Yeah, this Rips! Band has always been majorly consistent, you gotta give em that. I might try and see them this summer for the first time.

Easily my favourite sounding meshuggah album since obZen the production/mix sounds amazing, I hated the way The Violent Sleep of Reason sounded and thought that the vocals in Koloss are a bit too high in the mix.

These guys still haven't "clicked" for me despite multiple attempts. I gave up halfway through this album.

I've only listened to half of this (jfc it's a struggle to get through a full shuggah album) but i think it's their most listenable since catch 33.

I wouldn't say this is far from any of their albums quality wise.

Their albums are all great but I just can't listen to them often. Kinda like Bjรถrk - you have to be in the mood for it, but to me this one (for some reason) feels a bit more listenable in more situations

Remember when I said some pages ago that the tracks before Phantoms were "alright".

They were not, this album is a monster.

This is definitely the least Iโ€™ve liked any of their albums on first listen, but we will see if it grows on me

Man this album is giving me very hypnotic vibes. It's the most hypnotizing Mesh album. I'm starting to think I could 5 it someday.

Light The Shortening Fuse reminds me a lot of early Textures, which is freaking awesome!

It's really atmospheric yeah. Dark to. It's like the most dark/atmospheric and melodic album to date. This blows koloss and the last album outta the water to me. Pretty easily

What do you guys consider the best one here? for me it's hands down Armies, so crushing, they took the right decision at making it the last full song on the album
