Ah, just got reminded that there´s also a new Author & Punisher album out in February. What a bulldozer of a month.

Yeah Closer-Drip-Prescience is fucking nuts, definitely the highlight of the album (and Mutual Ruin is great). The sequencing otherwise threw me off a bit, came off really abrupt and 0-100 at times but I felt the same about TWD at first too. Will probably grow

They really didn't have to go that hard on Labyrinthine. But they did. Goddamn it slaps.

Sigh, of course this is a grower just like the two albums before.

The transitions in Mutual Ruin are stupendously amazing, I can only hope to reach that level of musicianship one day.

I’m hoping this grows on me bros there’s just way too much of a modern metalcore lean on a good number of the tracks. Production is great but like :///

Another thumbs up for the production.

Most metal sounds best on headphones but the soundstage of this is absolutely huge. Played it through my good truck speakers for the first time yesterday. Completely meleted my brain.

drip is absolutely massive, that is like the heaviness of deftones mixed with the synth work of NIN

While it's definitely one of my favorites of the year so far I can't help but feel like it lacks the cohesion of Time Will Die. I think it could have used a little rearranging of the track listing as well. "Stumbling" would have been an amazing closer and "Drip" feels more like a second track sort of song.

"Absolutely not"

This was true until the advent of repeatable and continuous BBL transfers
