Tbh the singles collection kind of indicated this direction, but it was stronger as well

As far as "mainstream" metalcore goes these guys are pretty good but yeah there's so much better stuff out there.
Happy for their success but this was really overhyped

I wouldn’t call it mid, I think it’s still fun but it’s just not worth listening to again when there’s so much better lol

[2] not to mention they themselves have better music than this album lol

Yeah this made me re-listen to their old stuff and it’s still so good. Also, even though the music here may be by the numbers, it’s also really refreshing just to listen to female vocals in this genre now and again

Yeah she’s a looker. She’s also the best part of this band she carries this album.

I think Mike is also very important. He definitely moreso with their earlier stuff, but still pretty important

Completely missed the hype train on this and only got to cheq it yesterday, its fine imo. Obviously doesn't reinvent the wheel but complaining that a poppy core album isnt brimming with creativity feels a bit like complaining that a DnB album isn't creative, not exactly the point for me. Theres some really fun bits here and some really samey bits, clearly a talented if uninspiring vocalist although I feel like the oceans of reverb on her vox are doing a lot of heavy lifting
