but i also am fully aware when the hype dies down and there's new hype for their new album in 2024 or some shit, ill lower this to a 3 and then 3.5 the new album claiming its "the best in years" even though itll probably sound just like this one

This holds up really well. Track I havent seen anyone talk about is the last track cerements of the flayed. Really good closer. Other than that contagion,harvest,ritual,resurrection are all great. Slowly sawn and follow the blood and rampage solid to. Great album. Top 3 for them of the 2000s along with torture and kill.
