P.S. I checked the Helio / Anthro era and I must day it wasn’t the greatest musical experience, Helio was especially disappointing. I’ll persevere.

It was ok, but Pela’s were they’ve hit their current stride. Really love what they’ve done since. Wish I cared for Precambrian but was disappointed massively.

Really? I love the dichotomy between the hardcore influenced first half and then the post metal landscapes of the second disc.

Yeah thats why i really dont like it. Like 20 minutes for one disc of that before the main meat of the album made little sense. Not for me i guess.

All depends on how the pacing works out. I think it collapses effectively into the atmosphere of the second half, but I do understand how the transition can be somewhat jarring and/or unappealing.

Yeah i'd just condense that first disc into like a 6-7 minute intro track for disc 2 to kick it all off.

That's fair enough. Personally, I love the two different halves and think they both offer their own strengths that make it such a grand experience. Some of those riffs are just too heavy.
