Yeah it's left my mind but I was spinning it hard for at least 2 weeks straight.

Oddly enough, Blinding Lights has left the best and most lasting impression despite having heard it months and months ago

"he will live in the shadow of the trilogy 4ever"

Nope. Only House of Balloons is better than this imo, while Thursday is worse and Echoes of Silence about as good as this. and with this was one he was actually both commericially and critcally successful

Yeah truth, I've enjoyed all his stuff and I'm glad he's branched out since the Trilogy days. I would love for him to keep experimenting with his style and evolving

This is better than Trilogy for the most part.

I prefer the darker aesthetic of Trilogy, but the execution on this is miles ahead of it. If he revisited the House of Balloons sound now, he'd probably make a better album.

This is on about the same level as Thursday but to pretend that it's better than HOB or EOS is laughable.

Eh I think I've decided that I enjoy this more than Trilogy.

I see the appeal of Trilogy, especially House of Balloons, but I feel like if it wasn't considered an "untouchable cult classic" by so many people, they would see it's a bit amateurish compared to the best cuts off his last three projects.

@noler: I don't know that they'd consider it amateurish, probably just more experimental and moody, but I agree that people wouldn't act so "edgy" and shit on his other albums as much

"JUSTICE FOR KISS LAND (2013)"

First album of his I heard, but I think it might be his weakest relatively. Professional is one of his best songs though
