I disagree - I love The Ways of Yore! (One of my most favourite albums for reading.) But Belus was clearly the best post-prison BM album by Varg, that is for sure.

Nah I don't know, while Nattens is magnificent through and through, I always felt Bergtatt is what characterizes Ulver of that period and on Nattens they just wanted to sound as raw and extreme as possible. Insanely good riffs in these songs for sure though.
