If you just skip Avalanche and that song it's another excellent record imo. The Raven t/t is my fav, that whole instrumental solo section is stunning.

But both Alora Crucibles are my fav Driver albums under any name since this and PHOBOS.

I do have a soft spot for Avalanche though - I absolutely love seeing the description on Bandcamp like "Avalance was dreamt in its entirety one night last winter" (sic) and expecting some wild avant garde track and its just soft rock
