(if it serves as anecdotal data for anyone, here in my country most people have been vaccinated for a while now, and personally i literally know of no one who got even the smallest side effects from the vaccine. all brands, and i know plenty of people with asthma, severe allergies, etc)

Reason a ton of people don't care is because the vast majority of them are asymptomatic or have extremely mild symptoms, with or without vaccine. It's hard to get a 30 year old or 20 year old to be super concerned about something that will not impact them at all.

it's all fun and games tho until it hits you with that loss of smell and taste and suddenly everything stinks like garbage.
