vantablonde is the only song on here that feels incomplete. I feel like it could have gone further.

I heard like two songs by these guys while they still had the singer, and boy, I gotta say, good riddance, he made them sound like a lot of other bands. Pretty radical for a band to shift from having a vocalist to full instrumental, pretty cool too. Looking forward to see what's next for them, but I guess sky's the limit.

Thanks for this! This is sooo good! Trying to get my other buddies into them. They seem to dig it too, and they can be critics!
Phoenix is the one that stands out. Earthless stood out the other night when I had been drinking. Vantablonde is so Tool-like.
The drumming is amazingly awesome.

aaaand Phoenix I & II (last song on their first LP) segues into the first song of their debut EP (Out of the Sky), which also has some amazing songs.

I remember the first time noticing this while finish listening to Lift Your Existence and yelling at my computer why the hell it starts "From the Shadows Where I'm Low" although it wasn't in the playlist. Then I realized. Good moment.
