"Prowler has the conceptual element which is cool and all but this is tighter, better produced and just goes way harder"

honestly tired of every other comment on either thread being "prowler is better" or "no morons terrifyer is better" without any real reasoning. while i'm definitely guilty of this if you aren't telling us why you believe one or the other is better, your comment tells us nothing that we couldn't find from your ratings

lmao ryus my opinion is the exact opposite.
i think the production is better here (pig destroyer doesn't pull off that rawer production style as well as a lot of grind bands) lyrics here have always impressed me more (and that's ignoring the cringeworthy computer voice poems on prowler, jesus christ those are edgy), and i'd honestly throw away the entire last third of prowler. i feel they're much more consistent and on top of their game here. there are still a few tracks that i'm ambivalent about but such is the nature of grind. at least here they're more spaced out instead of making it hard for me to finish the album because the quality drops off significantly in prowler's last act

haha damn
i think prowler is exceptionally consistent for a grindcore album

The fact that this and Converge's you Fail Me came out in the same year is so awesome. 2004 rules.
