Damn, I actually had to see this band live tonight open for Wintersun - just got reminded for how terrible they are. Funny how it works out.

Some of the best shit I've heard tbh, literally fantastic song writing - this isn't even songs or music it is a bunch of inspired, evocative expressions made into music that are very interesting

That would be more convincing if it wasn't prefaced by a 3.

Unless he didn't mean the word literally literally, his statement is literally full of shit.

One thing that really annoys me though is the weird typewriter-ish drumming used in nearly every song.

@Nomos2 I agree. I saw NeO earlier this year and they were one of the best live bands I've seen. I have massive respect for how they can reproduce all these great long songs live.

I second this. I've seen the band three times live now and every time their performance has been more solid and convictive than the last. I'm looking forward to seeing them a fourth time next month.

Can't stop thinking about that show. Most metal musicians I see are really giving it their all, but it's rare to see a whole band that passionate and immersed in their act. AAA+ those dudes deserve all the success in the world

It sounds good, but every song is way too similar for me to listen to the full thing in one sitting. Gets really boring after the first two songs.

@Korgull Their albums are pretty much 1 continuous song, so whether you like that is subjective. Portal of I has a bit more variation between songs.
