Keep coming back to this, every song has some kind of bad ass moment that makes my eyes bug out like wtf is going on here.

I JUST MIGHT BE THERE IN YOUR FINAL MOMENT- borderline scary with that riff that comes in

Clockworks is the most technical song Meshuggah's produced since Straws Pulled at Random. Monstrocity is Meshuggah's grooviest song since Bleed. Nostrum has the best solo in a Meshuggah album. Into Decay is almost a doom metal song. The only "rote" song on here is probably By the Ton. On par with Koloss and obZen. Still waiting for the magnum opus that pulls it all together.

"Nostrum has the best solo in a Meshuggah album."

What is a "rote" song? Hopefully not derogatory because by the ton slays.

By the way he's using it though I'm assuming he means it's almost trite for Meshuggah and not that it's a repetitive track within itself, but idk.

Are there any songs here on the 9-string that they were seen fucking around with?

Doesn't sound like 9 strings were their thing after all.

"Is there a real reason to actually listen to Meshuggah like ever?"

There always is a reason to get the best rhythmic metal fix around for your special cravings.

Isn't it just a great coincidence that the percentage of scores 4 and under noticeably rose once this review was defaulted?

Still in shock that there is someone out there, nevermind several that haven't 5 this
