I do find Neurosis a bit frustrating, they feed you a snippet of something that sounds monumental and then leave you hanging for ages. I know it's a genre thing and I do have the patience generally but I still think they could give you more bang in their compositions without compromising their integrity or what have you

listen to eye of every storm. very hard to get into, thought it sucked originally now its like my favorite metal album ever or at least close. absolutely GENIUS songwriting its like it should be illegal to write songs that are that nuanced, diverse and articulate
