I don't really know how to rate this; production is alterning between obnoxious and semi-interesting stuff, however the lyrics....

There isn't a lot to discuss when the lyrics sheet is as bare bones as they are here. As someone who should ideally agree with a lot of what she is saying, I can't take anything out of it. Though that's an inherent flaw to this kind of pop music and why an album like this falls flat as political commentary while albums like Get to Heaven and Feelin' Kinda Free flourish in their poppy or art rocky environments.
No one here is discussing what she is saying, they're discussing that she isn't saying it well enough to justify its existence as "political art". This album fails at what it aims to achieve and that's why it looks like its being reverse to "me vs ideology/conversion".

Exactly. I'm not commenting on the content of the songs themselves, personally. What I get annoyed with is the praise that this is somehow profound through its "bluntness," when really it's just poorly written and fails to bring any new or interesting perspectives on a litany of complicated issues.
