Deftones will never make another album that touches any of their 1st four albums in my eyes, because I'm a nostalgic bitch. All I can expect of a band that has been around for 20+ years and is responsible for several of my favorite albums is to continue making enjoyable music that is distinctively different from their previous work. They succeeded, as they always do.

For those who aren't feeling it, I would suggest giving it some time. It took about a dozen listens before I started to really like it. And for the love of god, stay away from that vinyl rip.
