I wouldn't call it anywhere near his best, but it's still kinda fun to check out. Especially that Oprah skit at the end of Feedback or whatever that song was. That was pretty fuckin' hilarious.

this album is painfully unfinished sooo many songs had the potential to be better if they were just extended/fleshed out its so frustrating

thats a pretty nice score for "painfully unfinished" and "potential to be better" and "its so frustrating"

I think I agree with that. Yeah, worst Kanye album. That being said I BARELY listen to Late Registration, I have the Diamonds remix from that and nothing else. So for me it'll probably be above LR in terms of replay value. Objectively I can say LR is better as a whole.

idk LR has a lot of gems. The first 4 tracks, Roses, Diamonds From Sierra Leone, and Hey Mama are all prime Kanye.

like i said, objectively good but i dont have it on my phone because i dont care to hear them as singles. theyre good in the context of the album and thats kinda it. TLOP isnt very cohesive which helps them sound good as singles.

yeah look i probably sounded overly harsh there, theres no songs i dont like on the album but a lot of the ok/good songs could have been great/amazing ones and i guess i had high expectations that just weren't met. wouldve been a 3.0 but a few really standout tracks pulled up my rating

I've liked all his albums about the same. Except for MBDTF which obviously is his most diverse. I just try to block out my feelings for him when I listen to his music

this one's closer to MBDTF than Yeezus to me, but with enough "Yeezus injections" to not make it seem like a retreat or anything

it's broken & fractured and all that, but i feel pretty satisfied with the thing as a whole and don't neccesarily consisder it incomplete, even if Kanye does himself

Fuck this album and fuck Kanye

It has now become impossible to separate him as an artist from the douchenozzle he is irl.
