I most likely will re-5 the next time I listen to it. Album rules hard but I couldn't for the life of me remember anything other than the guitar being sort of distorted on a song towards the end

Revisit it dude this album is like a fine wine. And distorted towards the end eh? Hmm there are a couple that come to mind with that detail haha. The last minute of I Would Hate You If I Could is pretty distorted.

Revisiting this review after seeing these guys live in Melbourne last month. They were good as ever - the vocals were near perfect, the instrumentation was tight and having the contrast between Turnstile as supports and Turnover as headliner was crazy. I still think some of their old material could be adapted to their current sound in a live setting - Most of the Time is still a great track. Also nearly an hour of just their two latest albums means there were a few of the less exciting deep cuts still present in the setlist.

It kinda sucks they don't play Magnolia songs anymore, yeah. I love Peripheral Vision, but their first LP will forever remain my favorite. That full-on hazy dream pop direction they seem to be going in with their last record is so disappointing though. I really hope they go back to a more punk sound on their next one.
