Another pompous shitty album made by Tool. Gosh, after listening to the awfully mediocre Lateralus I though it couldn't get any worse...well I was wrong. While Lateralus just like Aenema had some amazingly boring intros and fillers, amazingly repetitive riffs and almost Labree gay vocals I really believed they would do better...they did not. 10.000 days takes exactly that much to listen to, it's so slow, so boring, so utterly unimaginative I can't help but press the pause button and continue tomorrow...or next week. Apart from vicarious and jambi which both represent 2 riffs prolonged to more than 5 minutes there is nothing worthy of listening on the album. Tool was never metal, never progressive, but that never really mattered. There's a reason however Meshuggah was never interviewed by Mtv and Tool was...Tool belongs on MTV all the more with their latest dung.
