I honestly understand the desire to talk about albums you dislike. It just depends on how you do it. Dropping by every day to be like "lol you guys are all dumb for liking this" is flat out annoying, because without actually laying out your argument you're basically just trolling. And if you did it like a month ago, then you need to continually engage people by presenting new, legitimate criticisms otherwise it is still just as bothersome and unnecessary. Debating why you think it is being overly appreciated generates good discussion. That's honestly how I feel about To Pimp a Butterfly; I feel like that album is only a notch above average and it motivates me to be like what the hell do you people see in this every time it comes up on the feed. I don't know which Potsy is doing because I don't feel like exerting any effort into looking back, but I'm all for opposing views. As long as he's not being an insufferable asshat (which is the case like 90% of the time with users on this site) then it's all good.

pots gave multiple reasons why he wasn't big on the release, and was met with butthurt, so idk how you expected him to go about things. it gets annoying pretending you don't think certain users are idiots for how they respond to contention.

everyone loves it when people are honest, except when it's something they don't want to hear. negative opinions are just as valuable as positive ones - helps you see things differently, and provokes change. it'd be nice if explaining why you don't like something generated good discussion, but that just doesn't happen enough because people are often irrational in their defence of some artists.
