Money, bitches, drugs and ignorant hood shit. Most rappers have no flow or rhyme scheme short of one word one syllable every half bar.

which is funny because modern hip hop actually has even more garbage than most other genres these days except maybe indie rock

Rap is certainly subject to criticism like anything else, but this album is not the savior of the genre. Come on. And to say 90% of hip hop is garbage is way too high.

Maybe I was hyper exaggerating calling him an idiot. D'ya ever think about that?? He has a point, yes. And maybe he didn't actually mean that hip hop had no hope, but I do think a statement like that is up for a little bit of name calling.

It's not the savior of hip hop but or whatever but at least he's trying

And % 90 is pretty accurate for every earl, doom, capn or lupe there's 9 shit trap rappers

im not sure hip hop does have too much hope left. if it keeps going in the direction its going. all the 'headz are dying off and the hip hop fanbase is being taken over by fuccboi's and hipsters who listen to waxahatchee and think run the jewels I is el-ps first album.
